10 Year Warranty - July 1, 2010

On 1 July, 2010 Australis increased the warranty issued to all retail purchasers of their watercraft from 5 years to 10 years.

This warranty covers faulty materials and workmanship, but does not cover wear & tear or damage caused by use or misuse.

Australis have been manufacturing plastic watercraft since 1987, and in those 23 years have earned a reputation for quality products that perform well on the water. We use the finest raw materials, and have such confidence in the quality of these materials and our manufacturing procedures, that they are now backed by a 10 year warranty.

AUSTRALIS - We design, make and sell Australia's favourite canoes and kayaks

Australis Canoes is a Australian company that specialises in designing and making sit on tops, canoes, kayaks and sea kayaks, specifically for use on Australian waterways.

Our factory and showroom is based in Wollongong (on the NSW south coast - about an hour south of Sydney, Australia) where you can see and touch all of our products. Here, you are able to purchase direct from the factory, or alternatively, you can purchase from our many authorised agents right around Australia.

The owners of Australis Canoes Pty Ltd are John and David Slattery. They are well known in the paddling industry, have over 100 years of combined on the water paddling experience, and incorporate this expertise into every Australis product they design.

You can arrange to test paddle any of our models on the water by calling the factory on 02 4285 2000 and booking a time. If you would prefer to try the craft for an extended period of time, you can hire our canoes, kayaks, sea kayaks or sit ons for a weekend, week or longer.

AUTHORISED OUTLET - Taren Point...

We would like to advise customers in southern Sydney that the only kayak showroom authorised to sell Australis products in Taren Point is Kayaks Australia at 1/23 Bay Road, Taren Point.

By buying from an authorised Australis retailer, as the original purchaser, you automatically receive our 10 year warranty which covers your kayak in the rare occurrence of faulty materials or workmanship.

If you choose to purchase from a third party retailer (a shop who has bought products through another store), please note that, as they are actually the original purchaser, the Australis 10 year warranty is registered to them and is not transferred to the next purchaser/owner.
